FAQ
Becoming a YI Certified School
Is this a franchise?
No. It’s a licensing + support model. You keep your brand, culture, and ownership while gaining our curriculum, systems, and coaching.
Will this align with my state standards?
Yes. Our curriculum maps to state early learning standards and is designed for easy documentation during licensing and quality assessments.
Can my staff earn CEUs?
Yes—if you choose to pursue IACET provider status for your PD track, your team can earn nationally recognized CEUs.
How fast can we implement it?
Most schools go live in 30–90 days with our onboarding plan.
Do I have to change my school’s name? fast can we implement it?
No. You keep your name, identity, and community presence—our systems work alongside your existing brand.
What support will I receive after certification?
You’ll get ongoing coaching, access to our provider network, curriculum updates, operational dashboards, and marketing support.
Can I add “YI School” under my trade name?
Yes. Many of our certified schools choose to keep their existing trade name and add “Powered by Young Innovators” or “A Young Innovators Academy School” as a sub-brand. This allows you to maintain your local identity while leveraging the strength and recognition of the YIA brand.
Do I need to already own a school to join?
No. We work with both established providers and startups. If you’re new, we’ll guide you through licensing, operations, and launch. We also offer consulting support and business planning services to help you start strong and avoid costly mistakes.
How do you help me market my center?
Once your operations are running smoothly, we help you stand out in your market with a future-ready curriculum and consistent, high-quality experiences that parents notice. You’ll receive marketing playbooks, enrollment funnel templates, tour scripts, and your own school page on our YIA website—plus integrated CRM tools to track leads, automate follow-up, and measure your results. This combination helps you compete confidently with established brands and attract your ideal families.
What is included in the YIA curriculum platform?
Full lesson plans, activity guides, assessments, project-based learning resources, and teacher training modules—updated regularly.
What is the difference between buying a curriculum online or becoming part of the YIA Schools movement?
Buying a curriculum online gives you lesson plans—but leaves you on your own to figure out implementation, staff training, and marketing. Plus, curriculum companies will sell their program to your closest competitor, which means you lose your competitive edge.
Becoming part of the Young Innovators movement means you get:
- A future-ready online curriculum aligned to state standards and designed for real-world skills
- Operational systems for classrooms, enrollment, and daily management
- Staff training and professional development (with CEU)
- Marketing and CRM tools to attract and convert ideal families
